The 16 contestants set to enter the Big Brother house for season 26 of the CBS summer reality staple have been revealed. And that may not be all of them.
A video clerk, a former undercover cop, a celebrity chef, a VIP cocktail server, and a crochet business owner are among the players who will be saying goodbye to their sanity when the show premieres July 17. But, for the first time ever, the contestants will have the opportunity to vote in a 17th houseguest - a houseguest whose identity remains a secret. Could it be another new player, or will it be a former reality star, such as last season?
It seems this time the players - or at least one or some of them - will know and decide whether to allow another competitor in their midst. In the meantime, here are the first 16 contestants that will be competing in the artificial intelligence themed season under the watchful eye of the Chenbot. While Rubina doesn’t want to face off against competition beasts, Joseph Rodriguez, Lisa Weintraub, Tucker Des Lauriers, Cam Sullivan-Brown are more wary of the strategic players. “Somebody like a Vanessa Rousso,” Joseph, 30-year-old video store clerk, told Us. “Somebody who is really smart and cunning and also willing to call you out in front of other people and have you struggle to come up with a good answer in the moment.” For Lisa, a 33-year-old celebrity chef, she would not be thrilled to see Big Brother 16 champ Derrick Levasseur. “He had his hands in all of the cookie jars and he did it with kindness but also with really smart gameplay,” she reflected. “I would love to be on his team but I would also not like to go against him.” Tucker, a 30-year-old marketing and sales executive, answered Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling. While Tucker thinks he and the The Traitors season 2 star could be buddies, he knows what Dan can do in the game. Meanwhile, Cam, a 25-old physical therapist, would hate to see a player like Big Brother 23’s Tiffany Mitchell in the game. “She was the mastermind behind it all,” he explained. “She really wasn’t threatening in terms of challenges but she was threatening because she was pulling the strings with the Cookout.” Speaking of pulling strings, the 16 houseguests will get to do just that this season. CBS revealed on Monday that the first twist the players will encounter is the chance to vote in a 17th houseguest during the premiere. Additional details about who that player would be have yet to be announced. For Kenney Kelley, a 52-year-old former undercover cop, he’s not afraid of anyone who would walk in the house since he’s not the kind of person who gets “intimidated” easily. “There’s nobody I’d be threatened by at all,” he said. “I’m a pretty confident person. I’ll be able to get in that house and handle whoever is in there.”

This season has just been so blah. None of these people know how to play this game. They can’t keep secrets, they are not loyal to anyone, and the ones that say they are super fans are just duds. I was expecting more out of this group but they are really lack luster. I don’t think any of them deserve to win this game. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just give it to Angela. Well if T'kor and Rubina are talking about who they would vote out is weird since Rubina is still on the block.Unless the scenario is they take Rubina off the block. I think they couldn't take out Chelsie if it were T'kor on her because it wouldn't be breaking up the trio if they take Chelsie out. I just don't see that happening. I can see them putting up T'kor though. Since they all talk about the votes the trio have can potentially send one of them out, they have to get one of the trio out. Definitely interested to see how it all turns out. I'm not super confident they'll be willing to make the move with Chelsie and T'Kor but I hope they do. It would make for a bit of a challenging week for Leah and Angela going forward because they'll either have the wrath of Chelsie or wrath of T'Kor, but I think for anyone to have a chance of winning they need to take the shot. I also loved the songs they were making up last night - I woke up with them stuck in my head from all of their rehearsing 🤣

If Leah takes out Chelsie, it might push MJ and Cam closer to Leah out of necessity. If she gets rid of chelsie and leaves the trio, they are still the biggest target in the house. If she gets rid of Kimo, it will lower their threat level and gain favor with the chelsie side of the house, but that wont significantly increase her standing in the house.

If Leah and Angela use both vetos and put up Chelsea & Tkor, then they better prepare for the consequences. If Chelsea goes, then Leah has to worry about Tkor coming for her along with her Rubina and Kimo. Anyone of them can win HoH. Angela is her only back up plus the double eviction is coming. If Tkor goes, then she has to worry about Chelsea coming for her with Rubina and Kimo taking revenge for Tkor leaving. Plus if Chelsea stays, there's a good probability she'll win HOH.

Leah should be fine in theory if Chelsie stays and MJ, Cam or Angela win the next HoH. MJ likes Leah and they have some form of a friendship. She would need to be swayed by Chelsie to put Leah up on the block (something that could probably be done easily, though). Angela would be the main target which’ll hurt Leah’s game but she’ll still have at least another week if things go her way. Cam and Leah made a deal with each other for safety. Cam might respect Leah’s game or see her as someone good to keep in the house for his game as Leah won’t target him. Angela and Leah have a final 2 deal and Leah is Angela’s closest ally. This requires Leah to properly coordinate with Angela and it depends on how they both see the situation regarding who would be a bigger threat to send home.

Early on when Cedric was there a low key Cookout was being formed. It was TKor, Chelsea, Cedric and Cam. I’m trying to remember if Brooklyn was in the room as well. We all know that T’Kor and Chelsea have the pact that they won’t vote another black woman out, and TKor even said that to Tucker. It has nothing to do with gameplay but race.
