The Sixers are giving up Reed because he hasn't improved his game. His 3-point shot was quite good, but people don't trust him like Matisse did. In addition, Paul Reed is not a great zone defender; fast players in particular cause him problems. But he still makes his blocks. He couldn't fix the defensive rebound problem, especially in the playoffs his impact was too low and that's why he has to go. Bringing Drummond in was absolutely the right thing to do. But Philly still loves his hustle and attitute, great guy and he has good games and moments

Great pickup but I don't see him replacing Stew just because of his size. He may be an inch taller with hops but he will be pounded on only being 210 lbs. Small ball center would work for him but probably better at the 4.

BBall Paul got the ole Zach Randoplh jumper. I don't think its him or Beef Stew.. both of them give Detroit BADLY needed spacing ability down low. Duren needs room to work, Cade/Ivy need room to slash. Asuar and Duren lineups were ROUGH. Harris/Beef Stew/Fonteccio/Paul will give some more depth/spacing. Detroit won't be world killers, but they are massively better then last year, especially early last year.
