I liked the video because it's good content but it is okay to say that the Clippers are choking. Just because you picked the doesn't mean you have make excuses. The sad part is that if this was LeBron and the Lakers blowing these leads he would have been trashed hard. Clippers are definitely the more "talented" team but can't no one stop Jokic and the Nuggets have no pressure. They can go out and have fun while the Clippers are the one looking ahead to the Lakers. They gotta beat this team first. Even though I want to see a Clippers v Lakers, I kinda want the Nuggets to win so I can hear every excuse Kawhi will get.

@Erik Lerström I have nothing against teams signing stars either. The goal is to be the best team after all, you gotta do what you gotta do. Just that I prefer the organic teams more. However, I do believe clippers went overboard this year and I think it's showing in their chemistry issues
@unbiasedjisoostan37164 жыл бұрын
I honestly still have the Clippers winning this series cause they just have too much talent to fold in 3 straight games. But if I had any fears for the Lakers about facing the Clippers before, it's definitely gone now. I'm confident that the whoever wins between the Clippers and Nuggets, the Lakers will handle them.
@mattschatz48644 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be that sure about that. Granted I think they are the best team and I am a Nuggets fan. Matchups can be a nightmare and Lebron and Jokic command those types of matchup problems. Especially if the second or third options or even further down the line scoring options explode for a game or two. If Jamal didn't explode against Utah I wouldn't be making this comment right now. So I guess it depends. I see AD as a big problem with Lebron attacking the rim we have to watch both of them which is going to be a defensive nightmare for us. Anyways lets see what happens, I think Denver vs Utah is more exciting matchup though, different players with different strengths. Very exciting to see that. Basically for me the western conference finals is the finals. Whoever wins that I think takes down Boston or Miami, no discredit to those teams, I honestly have not been watching them at all and maybe they are playing amazing in the playoffs.

Unbelievable. Nuggets continue to go on crazy runs where they are everywhere on defense blocking shots, stealing and grabbing big rebounds, and on the other end everybody making big shots. They don't just come back into the games, they run over opponents out of the gym and win comfortably at the end.

Love your vids, but man oh man are u biased towards the clippers. I mean Nuggets get so many no-calls its ridiculous and u just keep inserting bad calls for La. The Nuggs got two techs this game for getting mad at bad calls yet watching ur video one would think the refs gave them the game. But im not surprised by this - the same approach as the nba tv analysts wishing for an la vs la WCF. Sigh...
@chewysolo49534 жыл бұрын
I agree. Though I did not see the game, I know that watching the game shows you things you dont see in the breakdown. The mental battles, the no-calls, other frustrations. Watching this video made me think refs gave Nuggets the win, like you said might happen, but I guess I would need to watch the whole game to see the whole picture.
@aleksandarilic76664 жыл бұрын
@@chewysolo4953 Yeah - Still, I understand, the narrative of Kawaii and LeBron, the battle for LA and all that is very enticing for the broader public. As a Nuggets fan I don't think they have what it takes to beat LAL in the WCF but damn give them credit and don't make it seem like they're gifted the wins throughout the series because it's not true. Furthermore, even if the chances that they win over LAL in WCF are very slim they deserve to get there and have that experience. And if their playoff series showed anything last year and this year is that the Nugget don't give up - EVER!
@aksuited44714 жыл бұрын
YES! I made a post about this too, absolutely ridiculous. He excluded key moments in the game, including the bodycheck of George against Murray on a layup attempt that almost injured him and wasn't called a foul and was a turning point in the game because it activated the pride of the Nuggets and they made the huge run after that. Also 2 blatantly wrong (non)calls led to 2 early technicals against the Nuggets for complaining. But in the video he prefers to complain on some bullshit 50/50 calls against the Clippers instead... Pathetic game breakdown.
@aleksandarilic76664 жыл бұрын
@@aksuited4471 No, no - let's not get carried away, his play breakdowns are awesome and I love them but the narrative I'm not a big fan of. I understand that there are more fans of Clippers out there than there are of Denver but come on. I understand catering to the fans one way or the other so you don't lose subscriptions but why not keep it neutral? Honestly, journalists (and I do consider this guy to be a journalist basically), are forgetting their place. You are not supposed to be the "hype guy" - impartial, neutral and objective reporting and analysis should be your goal. Everyone wants to be Stephe A. and Skip these days. @BBALLBREAKDOWN If you are a Clippers fan, just take your time at the end of the video and say so, vent your frustration but try to remain objective as you are going to lose a lot of people by compromising your objectivity.

Good breakdown, a bit heavy on the minutiae. Those are the trees. The forest is the fact that there's not a lot of subtlety or nuance to the Clippers offense. It appears for all intents and purposes a series of dribble penetration and either the driver, Williams or Leonard taking the shot, or passing out to a three point shooter. This was the LeBron offense from Cleveland, an offense that, all things being equal is easy to prepare for and adjust to. On every key possession of the last three games, Kahwi starts out with the ball on the right elbow extended and drives toward the bucket. He either pulls up from 15 feet, drives around Jokic when he comes up, or passes to the right baseline when they help from that wing. After 5 games, that Nuggets can diagnose this in their sleep and the Clippers appear to have no plan B. What is truly scary from the Clippers perspective is the fact all this has happened without any of their key people being in foul trouble. I shudder to consider the possibility of either Kahwi or George picking up three first half fouls in Game 7. If you think their offense looked dry and predictable before, imagine that offense in the hands of Patrick Beverley. Sacre Bleu!

Interesting editorial choice to talk about several missed calls against the Clippers while omitting the one non call in favor of the Clippers that could have ended the Nuggets' hopes if Murray wasn't a tough as nails player but actually gave them one more reason to fight back because he is... PG had 33 points, but he was a negative 23 in plus/minus despite playing 2 less mins than Kawhi. I think we should start evaluating that PG's ability to be a number one option and limiting Kawhi's ability to dominate as a number one option. Also, Montrezl Harrell proving that he's the most overrated 6th man of the year in a long time. That award belong to Dennis Schröder. If I'm the Clippers, I'm letting Harrel go cuz he's just not worth the money. He's a tweener that can't shoot. Most tweener that can't shoot are great in the regular season and absolute dogshit in the playoffs where most teams don't allow for many fast breaks and easy paint points.

Not only that, kawhi has so much more playoff experience than pg13, pg didnt even make it pas the first round in a couple of years. Kawhi is the reigning finals mvp, put some respect on him name.

Issue is PG and kawhi together.. Nuggets basically letting PG score,like how lakers let westbrook score, cuz he don't have ability to break down defense that can potentially open up more plays for their team.
