I believe there are half a dozen MT Rushmore greats who could have accomished back to back 3peats, under the most ideal situations, WITH a 2 year REST, same as MJ did. I grew up watching MJ, I love MJ he's my #2 best all around player of all time. He's my #1 pure scorer, with elite defense, player of all time. But I also understand the nuance here. And I see how people act like MJs style of play and his skillsets and his methods are the barometer by which everyone should be measured STRICTLY, and fallaciously, just because the *Bulls'* Finals record is perfect. If one is going to skew the standards, to be measured by, by how MJ did it then of course the GOAT in there mind will ALWAYS be MJ. And after the standards are set correctly and everything is properly accounted for and MJ is still someone's GOAT then great 👍🏾 it can all just boil down to preference, but most people are biased af. Actually MJ is really 1a for me. There's also a 1b and 1c because there's a set of goats who can't really be fully compared to each other due to being in slightly different classes.

I watched it live when I was like 16 or 17. It was a great game the Bulls werr down like 20 pts and came back to win in OT. Kukoc hit a 3 over Shaq's outstretched arm. Those Bulls teams were flat out Awesome. Leadership being shown by taking down Rodman. Jordan, Pippen and Phil Jackson had so much respect for what Rodman brought to the team as a player.
