That dude is the epitome of what it is to be 311est. As for those judges who don't know who 311 is, they obviously should not qualify to be judges.

lol I love how the judges think this is current when that song is actually over 10 years old. It's from '96. Just shows the absolute timelessness of 311's stuff. I won't comment on his rendition of it though. I'd probably be a bit biased since I love 311 to death.

I really love this particular performance of Blake's. I admire him for always trying to be so different and creative- especially in a show where contestants are so limited. You what is awesome? I listened to this song by 311 and it's actually pretty explicit and Blake was great at concealing the 'unfriendly words' without me even knowing it. And Blake's version is WAY better than the original. Just listen to it and you'll agree!
