BBC 1 Interview with Daley Thompson 19 07 12

I was lucky enough to win a competition just before the 1992 Olympics. It was staying in the hotel where the athletes were staying and going to a meet at Crystal Palace, then having a lovely meal in a big tent. When we got back to the hotel, I had the most marvellous time sat with lots of athletes including Daley and he was terrific. One of the highlights of my life.

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Thompson during the 1992 Olympic Games at an Adidas party. Super cool brother.

What a legend in the true sense. Ultimate test of an athlete (Olympic decathlon) and he wins it twice...

What an athlete, character, person he was/is. Anyone who says he doesn't like Daley is saying more about him/herself.
