@@ManF3 The 3rd logo from BBC Knowledge does have some creativity in it. The orchestral music is also quite beautiful. And a great way to end a TV network. The 2005 idents from BBC Four are also beautiful, and are one of the longest-running idents on British TV.

The early BBC Four idents actually react sounds made by either the continuity announcer, or music. The only other station that did that type of stuff was S4C I think

i love how well thought and ahead of their time those idents are, especially the 2005-2021 one which despite being from 2005 still looks really modern and the idea is still being used, just with the four logo not in the center

Just out of curiosity, because there exists BBC 1,2,3 and 4, why do they name them like that?

Started out with BBC. Then, they launched a second channel, and BBC became BBC One and the second channel BBC Two. A third channel launched, they decided to name it BBC Choice. That same year, the fourth channel launched, called BBC Knowledge. In 2002, the fourth channel renamed to BBC Four, and in 2003 the third channel renamed to BBC Three. It's about ordering.
