Doesn't he just look epic and beautiful playing on top of that palace!??! What is not "cool" about that?!!? The more I learn of Brian May, the more fond I become. He is just so impressive and classy. Truly, he knows how to express his thoughts and opinions in a lovely, polite way. His talent is immeasurable and the fact that he is lending a much-needed voice to those beautiful animals- well, my hat is off to you, Brian! Continued blessings!!!

Brian May can say more in a whisper than a room full of Politicians can say, all shouting at each other. You know someone is a force to be reckoned with when they don't even have to raise their voice to make a point. SUCH an amazing, wise voice and phenomenal talent...I mean seriously - just the Rock Guitar God and member of Queen bit puts him in the 99th percentile. Then you throw in a PhD in Astrophysics, and that would make many a man think and behave like he was "smarter than your average bear", but not Dr. May. Brian uses that voice to raise awareness and funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, for Animal Welfare, and other important issues ( when he isn't touring with Roger and Adam, or writing/ collaborating with the Astrophysics/Space Community). 5:24 -You are Spot-On, Brian...the Class System in Britain is not going down without a fight, and the only people chasing Foxes on horseback with hounds are Toffs. The world needs more Brian May - it would be a much kinder, gentler place...with wicked guitar riffs.

@Griwhoolda I think you are right, he is actually young in that he is showing us that rich people over 60 with money also can be informed and party to the good forces in this world. He has been a pioneer all his life, Brian does just not get that about himself, he is just so honestly humble.
@rossdixonellis11 жыл бұрын
Funny that this interviewer asks if he realized it may have been uncool to perform for the queen when his band is named queen. It isn't your anarchy rock band. It's a monarchy rock band. haha.

Interviewer: "If you really care, then humans are more important". "If you really care about animals, then batteries are more important". Why do some always try to make 'the issue of the day' more important than the life of even one animal, and use this as 'proof' that a person is genuine? Issues of the day will always change, but the true needs of animals and people won't. It's about being humble.

The interviewer is a tosser... " It wasn't necessarily cool ". In my opinion, it was very indeed cool, and considering i am only 20 years old the model of a " Young Queen fan ". But more so, as Brain said, It really is about the music. I look at Queen as the greatest band ever and look at there 20+ years of music. He and the other members of Queen including the late Freddie Mercury don't ever need to prove themselves ever again.

@sheepdog411 you´re just partly right ´cos the interviewer talked ´bout suffering from financial loss in terms of the farmers so brian just responded to this. nobody was talking about the emotional concern as for the fact you have to slaughter cows to prevent more disease. brian is considered to be emotional so he would´ve answered such kind of question properly for sure.

I haven't picked up a guitar in almost two years - not once - used to play hours every day. Now I have no calluses and almost no strength in my hands whatsoever... I'd been playing over 30 years... Depression is a real bitch!!!! You lose every joy in life in a black empty hole of despair... it's terribly sad to see all of my old girls (guitars) gathering dust in a silent row... 😟

Who is this irritating interviewer? What STUPID questions. But typical of the always articulate & lovely Brian May, he answers each confrontational question by this wanker with the utmost patience & clarity & makes the man look like the idiot he is. Brian May is what we all aspire to be... honest, caring of all species, & so remarkably intelligent that he always impresses everyone who takes the time to see him as not only a stellar musician & compassionate songwriter, but as an example of what we would all like to be. Bless you Brian for always telling us who the man behind the guitar is. You are so down to earth even after all you have achieved, and as Freddie knew & we all know, YOU ARE A LEGEND ALL ON YOUR OWN.

@thedude3092 Who are those people who didn't know where the sun went at night? That's usually our own lack of knowledge talking... just because those people used a different language, but as with a circle, we are returning. For example, it's now plausible that "Dark Matter" is, and works like, what those people called "Ether" (etc). And they too said God was unknowable.
