The vhs tape is currently sitting in a pile of tapes next to me right now. The tape does run into the next screen, but I stopped recording because the station stayed for a few days at a blank screen before disappearing from the channel guide.

The recent changes message stayed there for about a week (I didn’t record for that long) and then the channel completely disappeared from the guide leaving an empty channel number.
