I miss Janice Machin on BBC Look East from Cambridge, Why everything has to be centre in Norwich?? The programme isn't revelant to what cover around the 4 counties of Bedfordshire Cambridgeshire North Hertfordshire and Northampton, ITV Anglia still has it split news services.

Look East has become a joke. The merger of "East with West" wasnt wanted by viewers and us in the 3 true Eastern counties (Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk) were not made aware of the merge. We simply switched on to find news stories from Corby, Stevenage, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton etc. Thats not meant to be offensive as Im sure someone in Kettering must be equally baffled to be told about whats going on in Southend. I think this was partly behind the Stewart White exit (which I assume wasnt news in the West of region). We in Suffolk DETEST having our news run out of Norwich, everything is Norfolk-Centric. Ah well, we have since switched to Anglia News - its a good service and we get good coverage. Janine Machin - a top broadcaster. The sooner her and Sara Thornton take over in Norwich the better.

@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 Why should northants26 move when he can install a Freesat satellite and retune to a different region, what if he happy in his job, it the BBC fauilt for cutting back it local services

Look East! I don't think so, not when it's covering stories from Luton, Corby and Northampton. Nay as well be coming from Cardiff as it so far from East Anglia. Look East rapidly becoming irrelevant to the region it's supposed to serve.
