I looked at the comments to see if anyone had enjoyed this as much as I did and, clearly, they had and so many already mirror what I was going to say. For a piece that lasted less than an hour, come the end, it felt as though I'd sat through a full length feature film& loved every minute. I love Christopher Neame's voice and Rosalind Ayres is fantastic in everything she does! I only recently discovered this channel (now subscribed 👍) & have been really enjoying the Peter Whalley plays too. Thank you for re-awakening my love for all that's audio 😊

Very good & extremely entertaining, I kept wondering how it would end! Both were mad as hatters but no one's perfect.

This is deceptively clever. If you were describing it, it would sound idiotic, but it was enthralling to listen to. Very unexpected happenings and ending.

Interesting premise . Unfortunately the novelty wears thin after the first 10 minutes. It's either a " wacky, surreal " comedy or an exercise in self indulgence ? Luckily , I had some paint I wanted to watch while it dried so opted for that instead .

I really can't see the point of this play. There is no interaction or development unsurprisingly given there is no Roger. Just a series of unending monologues.

I found this play a little ridiculous. I mean, they know he’s imaginary but a fully grown man goes to play squash at a squash court with an imaginary friend & thinks that’s not going to look a bit odd - good shot Roger - onlookers be like ‘ok, this guy is a bit nuts’. Or perhaps that’s the idea, the both of them are clearly unwell.

Lots of irrelevant dialogue from this cohabitating couple here at the start..… for instance, at breakfast......"is this my coffee?"....."is this my newspaper".....who else's coffee and newspaper would it be ?
