Personally sometimes they are difficult to understand for a non native speaker and english born! Never had one in my life, I'm 63. My mother did for a while mainly for the Christmas specials, morcome and wise and the like. I always tried to get home for Christmas, sometimes I couldn't due to operational constraints. But I like to think one of her best Christmas gifts was when I travelled from Brunei, Borneo via Hong Kong to Gatwick, down to Cardiff and up to the Rhondda valleys then rang the doorbell totally unexpected. My brother opened the door and I just walked into the living room (a little dishevelled after Lord knows how many hours traveling). Her reaction was my best Christmas gift ever "Oh, my son, oh, my son" lots of hugs and kisses etc. I am the youngest son with two older brothers and a younger sister, all of whom I took total delight in taking the piss out of whilst I was there (I hadn't seen them for a year +). And they responded robustly 😂. One of the best Christmases of my life. As traditionally happens. Women stay at home and get the Christmas dinner ready and the blokes go to the pub. I don't know if my father was really into the Christmas spirit or because he had his three sons around him but he drank way more than his normal two pints and ended up on gin and tonic with my middle brother. At dinner all he ate was the cabbage with numerous comments to my mother "oh Hazel, this cabbage is beautiful, beautiful" (input Welsh accent there). We put him to bed shortly afterwards, half an hour later "thump", back upstairs and he's fallen off the bed. Hoiked him back on and all was good. First time in my life that I have seen my father drunk. He wasn't one to show emotions, my mother was, perhaps he was pleased to see me as well. I am really sorry if I have bored you with this off topic narrative.

Jeremly Bowen looking at his face and mannerisms is surely Jewish? After all he was sighted on a spot well earned BBC leave doing his shopping at a kosher supermarket in Golders Green Road NW only 3 weeks ago buying smoked salmn and pickled & smaltz herrings and refuses to work on Yom Kippur. Is that not proof enough to show he is not biased in any way. Maybe confused?

strange only about 5 Israeli Arabs have opted since Oslo Accords to up sticks and moved to Ramallah in the PA paret of West Bank. But the rest wont budge and have no intention of wanting to live under arab dictators and autocratic islamic regimes. Consider one third of the pharmacists in Israel are professioinal Arabs
