By this time of course schools series were on bbc2 then as daytime on two instead as on bbc1 before it too.

I know some of the more immature viewers like to mock how some of these young people come across but then their brains have probably been rotted by TikTok and similar where they’ve forgotten how regular kids in real life actually were. I love the pragmatic and no nonsense approach they have especially they keep asking Pauline how she copes in the different seasons and bless her she just quietly says she just gets on with it. Kids back then just transitioned more maturely from school into work whereas now too many are busy fussing over their pronouns and feelings and vision boards trying to manifest things into their life whilst simultaneously posting selfies/their lunch every hour to actually just crack straight into a job 😂
