Humphrey Richard Davy (Great , great something of Humphrey Davy) and I were peers at the PCGS circa 1946 -1951.)We met,very briefly whilst serving in the RAF in the Suez Canal Zone 1954. "Duffy" as he was known at school, was in transit for RAF Aden.We had lunch together in the camp mess at RAF Kasfareet, I took Humphrey to RAF Fayid to pick up his onward flight Aden. We said goodbye, shook hands and have never seen each other since. C'est la vie!

So nice that Simpsons is still going. I'm originally from St.Ives but I consider myself a Penzance girl. I love Penzance.

Why no one mention Brontë foot print in Penzance? It’s more important then shops🤷🏻♂️

Peasgoods are sadly no longer there !

+Eugene Morice you sure? I've not been to Pz for a few years but can't see anything about it closing online and they are showing current opening hours
@eugenemorice33539 жыл бұрын
Defo.... The shop that featured in the video has the same exterior but is now a charity shop There is a 2nd shop under the Peasgoods name now on Alverton Street not far from the police station. That might account for the opening hours on the Internet

Penzance is a dump now, loved the town when I moved there in 1970 and its history, now thanks to the local council and bad planning, penzance is, t for me and my family
