BBC 2 never played GSTQ at closedown. Bbc 1 stopped it in 1997 when News 24 started.

BBC Two never played the national anthem at closedown, nor did BBC Choice or BBC Knowledge. BBC One stopped playing the national anthem when BBC News started filling in the gaps, sometime around 1998 i believe.
