The Flags and dramatic tunes were eventually exchanged thereafter by the soon following complete corporate design makeover of the BBC, incorporating red as the main carrying and dominating colour. Turning and pulsing globes, Running subtitles (Ticker lines). Introducing David Lowe's music, giving the whole station a new and very dynamic expression. Because the world is dynamic. every day.

Wow ... it's great to hear this music for the first time in about seven (?) years. I thought I was the only person with a "thing" for BBC World break-filler music, clearly not.

omg.. what a memories! For me, these breakfiller musics were the best ever used by BBC World. I remember that, in addition to those already present in this video, there was one more about Finance (maybe Exchange rate & Commodities rate) that I liked a lot.. Someone remember this one? Or better, have a REC of this one :D In case, post it! ;)

David Lowe was a god send to the BBC. The breakfiller music from 1999 to 2003 was much better than this. It sounds like Breakfast tv here. Also News 24s music behind the flag ident was much better.
