I was gutted for Sally when she didn't win the BAFTA, but i do think this tribute makes up for the lack of award. The Cirque du Soleil doesn't do this for everyone so this is very special indeed for Sally and Doug Jones!!

My jaw dropped twice when I saw both Sally AND Guillermo in the audience watching this performance! And the performers captured the love and emotion between the creature and Eliza PERFECTLY. (It also makes me want to see this sort of happening in the movie. ALMOST)

I wonder if there has been a study on the pay disrepancy between those literally holding someone's fate in their hands, and others providing entertainment? Especially since there is a shelf life to an acrobat .... food for thought

Aww BAFTA hired a group known to be discriminatory and unapologetic to open their show. How people forget they lost the lawsuit over unjustly firing a performer due to discrimination and a few years later a performer was killed by falling over 90 feet in a live show. The troupe is glitzy on the outside, but truly disgusting on the inside. Yay BAFTA.
