It's exactly as javier writes. There are a lot of monitors on stage, but as soon as you move away from them and at the same time you don't have IEM, the brain has to calculate the delay over a distance of 17 m. And this great experienced singer can do it. Please do not forget that ABBA worked the most at a time when microport / 1980 / was a novelty and IEM did not exist for a long time.

I totally concur, Mark. The first 20 times I watched/listened to this song I got chills. And, never having heard of Gary before, was impressed what a gentleman he is, and how at the end of the song, he looks at Agnetha with such admiration, pride, and with that momentary glance, telling her all that applause is for YOU.
