The end of the season four was soooo cliché and desappointing. I thought she would end up happily ever single.

I didn't like the way the show ended either, but not because she ended up with Gary - which I was wanting her to do. I didn't like it because of the tone shift, it was a sitcom that ended like a soap opera. I thought it was very depressing and Miranda changing her whole personality and eating her fruit friends, and not being her silly self in the name of being adult, I just didn't like it. I wanted her to end up with gary, but as the same silly Miranda she had always been, because that's true to the character. What happened at the end of the show, was that Miranda completely reinvented her character, as though she didn't like the way she was. That bothered me.

That's simply one little detail, but what I was talking about was the entire last episode up to that point felt dark and depressing in comparison to the others.. But I guess you missed all the rest of it, and just tuned in for the galloping.
