Because I'm waiting for him to prove to the world that he's capable of producing something that's his own rather than copying and pasting other people's work.
@akselsand60766 жыл бұрын
redplague to be fair, most of the styles he "imitates" he makes, its kind if his thing. Styles used on his albums usually see big waves afterwards. He is largely responsible for revolutionizing the 808 bassline as it is used today. Artists usually copy his style, not the other way around. Doesn't mean he does it best, but he's usually the first.
@redplague6 жыл бұрын
Yeah but if you think of a photocopier. Those other artists are copies of the copy, Kanye was the first copy,
@benjadamon6 жыл бұрын
redplague you seriously dont believe Kanye is able to produce his own stuff?? Lmao. He uses plenty of samples, yes, but do you have ANY clue about how hard it is both finding and mixing these samples as amazing as he does? By FAR one of the best producers ever in hip hop
@redplague6 жыл бұрын
When I say 'producing' I don't mean as in a studio producer, I mean it in terms of creation. Yes he's good at putting the right samples together but in terms of creation it isn't his. It like comparing someone who is good at collages to da Vinci. There's just no comparison in terms of creative talent.
@dogtags3033 жыл бұрын
As someone who is not a major Kanye fan and also who is inclined to dislike him due to his obnoxious personality/ messiah complex/ madness... it's impossible to deny that this is just truly a great piece of progressive and abstract art. A bold stroke of genius, confidently executed with pure conviction. A master at work, totally in his element. Reeling us in and keeping us in his pocket and still in awe and discussing it years later. Damn.

Bound!
@DW513804 ай бұрын
@@jackwolfskiI was never the biggest fan of Kanye the person, though some of the shit he does and says are admittedly hilarious. Seeing his story is so sad to watch his fall into whatever you’d call his state at the moment I can’t hold it against him and I can’t not listen to his music. as much as I’d like to say I wish he’d just stick to the music I just wish he’d disappear for a year or two and just get away from everything and take time to heal and just away from the constant attention and being provoked though a lot of it he brings on himself. I do have a soft spot for him as much as he can be a dickhead when he wants to be I will never not be a huge fan of his music

I actually prefer this version so much more than the album version. It has more in emotion in it. The sample change doesn't sound to forced (first transition could've been better) and the dudes voice (I don't know his name sorry) is great. Also West's emotion and depth in his rapping reminds me of Late Reg and Dropout. He sounds like he's playing it for fun and his own entertainment, which makes it so much more better for the audience.
