Even so, it's one thing to intellectually understand something and a totally different thing to actually experience it, even if you've been mentally prepared. It's not cool how Meghan was treated by the British press and even if she was warned beforehand, why should she have to just accept it? As a mixed race person of brown and white background brought up in the UK, it is clear to me that white middle aged people HATE when the word "racism" is used as it reminds them that it exists and they want to believe that the country has come a long way (which is has). As a male, I would never preach to a women about what child birth was like. Megan is the one that is using this to try and get a title for her son. She is pissed that her son doesn't have the same privileges and titles as Kate's kids who are in the line of next King. Harry's kids don't have the same titles etc. so they get no money or title. Harry is like 9th in line of King. They also brought up the fact that they were not getting paid anymore. That was their choice. You don't work as a royal you don't get tax payers money to support you. Meghan, along with many in this generation, has a very low expectation level of toughness and weathering capabilities. Geez, Princess Ann went through a kidnapping situation where 2-3 men were shot and the gunman was in the car with Ann, gun in hand - telling her to go with him. She told him no. The very next day she was back to her duties, no whinging. Meghan wanted to be a 'fairy tale, Hollywood' princess, she neglected to read the fine print when she signed up. TMZ broke the story about Kobe (and later got slammed for doing so before the families were notified). Then we all spent the rest of the day trying to find out what really happened. How many were on the copter, who was on the copter, etc. Everyone was freaking out and at one point, for about a full hour, the most reliable news I was getting was from my 13 yr. old who was at her game with her coach (who knew him and Gigi). Can you imagine if there were a National emergency and we needed reliable info and direction? It is scary to think that we have no real system in place. That TMZ is actually the most reliable source here in LA is insane (but they don't cover natural disasters...) crazy world!

First generation American, Army vet who has always heard Harry was a good soldier and humanitarian. I’ve not met him directly but I have deployed with Team Rubicon many times. Harry is a member of Team Rubicon and those who have volunteered beside him have said only good things about him. I was only aware he had married an American, I glanced through coverage of their wedding and was very happy for him. Being bored and quarantined I’ve researched how they are doing. I noticed how miserable he looks, how she literally manhandles him and has an obnoxious phony way way of speaking. I don’t like her and wondered if she was using Harry’s emotional injuries to control him when I learned about Canada and LA. He’s a combat vet x2, 90% of which have PTSD at some level. Vets are often manipulated and taken advantage of. It’s pretty obvious she’s isolating and dominating him. Then I learned she’s black and claims that is why public opinion of her is so bad. I had no idea she was black until a week ago. As someone married to a man of a different race/ethnicity it’s offensive she plays the race card instead of acknowledging her bullying behavior is the reason most don’t like her. Very sad bc Meghan could have been a wonderful of example of an inspirational American woman of color. Instead she’s a total embarrassment.

@@Wanamaker1946 I really wish I was wrong but I was in the army a long time. I know a little about PTS and have seen individuals prey on their emotional injury. Usually a romantic partner. Harry was so active in the veteran community particularly Invictus Games, Team Rubicon. Harry was getting as much as he was giving when involved with his peers. Not saying that in a negative way but any member of TR are so thankful to have a purpose and camaraderie again. I’m sure his service work with fellow veterans was a healthy outlet for him too. He WAS so proud of having served twice in combat. He absolutely didn’t have to deploy to combat zones in Afghanistan. That was his identity and he’s literally been stripped of his uniform. He can’t wear it ever again even on Veterans holidays when he always led honors. He’s not even recognized as a veteran anymore. I was so happy for him bc I’m grateful for what he’s done for vets. I was excited to learn about his wife and couldn’t believe what I was finding. MM is extremely dangerous IMO. I know in the U.S. 25 veterans die daily at their own hand. Broken relationships with loved ones, their support system non existent with no emotional help. That sounds exactly where Harry is. God forbid.

I think he knows he’s in way over his head but doesn’t know how or can’t deal with it. I know it sounds stupid but I’m worried about him. We lose so many to VETS bc they are isolated from their families and support systems. Often bc of their PTS. I can’t help but believe after his mother’s horrible death and two dangerous combat missions he has some degree of PTS.
