And notice the Granada signature at the end of University Challenge still showing the old BBC logo - this first-round match had been filmed during the summer, as is standard.

This is definitely Wednesday 15th October 1997 - not only does The Nazis: A Warning from History fit with the episode listed for this date on the BFI site, so does The Rugby Club. Radio 2 was still at quite an early stage of its reinvention at this point.
