No, they need to be used but with care. They are still capable of very good work, mine is in regular use and dates from 1811.

The way the expert talked about it, the valuation seemed very low! Thought he was going to say ten thousand!

It was filmed in 1999 when £2000 was quite a tidy sum..

What someone will pay in "antiques " terms ...value ...is just a number. It always puzzles me what people will pay for some marks on canvas. .yet that this ...

Now what if his great grandfather has sold that when he got it, invested the money in the market or a savings account…so 75 years of earnings…and left that to his great grandson…would be far more than 2000gbp…everyone watches this stuff when they have family heirlooms handed down and think its some great return…youve had to store and lug that thing around for 170 years…for what, $2800?not worth it…a bond would have been worth 100x that
