I would like to thank Fry & Laurie for the character of the nonsensical shopkeeper. I have channelled that character many times when I get scam phone calls regarding car crashes I have been involved in, or court cases against me by the Tax office. They usually hang up on me when I call on Mr Dalliard, and never call back for some strange reason.
