I'm sorry but Himba dies. This was filmed around 15 years ago or so. They followed the family around for days and at some point they needed to return to town for supplies. When they left it looked like the family was on the right track toward a nearby oasis so they thought that would be Himba's saving grace. After restocking on supplies they went out to the Oasis but there was no sign that Himba's family ever made it there. The lost track of the family for months and when they found the family again Himba was not with them.

I've watched up to 3nins & 9 seconds & so sad for this baby elephant whose life is already a struggle. Why is Rose reluctant to let him drink milk from her he's an orphan he needs nutrients. WOW she's cruel how dare her kick him. She has compassion oh my gosh this is disgraceful

If she herself doesn't get enough food she can't feed 2 calves. So, she must let the adopted calf die. It's better if at least 1 survives, than having both of them get little nutrition and die eventually. It's nature.

Thats how nature works... survival of the fittest and strongest. In nature in no place for compassion and its not disgraceful. They cant just go to the next supermarket and get some groceries like you. Everyday out there is a fight for survival and sometimes you have to make hard decisions

A third of babies don't make it. Watching this is painful and dont need to see it to understand. They drink milk first 2 yrs. Without mom and a herd, they dont make it. Not this baby or any baby unless they are rescued by a wildlife conservation trust loke Sheldrick Wildlife Trust orphanage in Kenya etc. I cant deal with Watching something that's inevitable.
