Thank you, Trinidad! Just finished reading about a Turtle hunt in the Solomon Islands in 1920. That was an indigenous population, however. Creatures that mature slowly and live a hundred years need protection. Like ripples in the ocean, we are learning to work with Nature, not against it.
@DBT10073 жыл бұрын
native ppl are always good. even tho they hunt kangaroos, wallabies, whale, tortoise, sea turtle, etc. it's the capitalism and people from the city that make it bad. and for that island's case, these ppl are not the natives. they're africans and some are europeans. soo they do harm to the environment. natives always know their home. but not the foreigners. the natives know their home because theyve been there for hundreds or even thousands of years. africans obviously dont know about marine stuff. they're traditionally not the seafarers. it's austronesians, chinese/east asians, and scandinavians that traditionally seafarers. but now thanks to scientific archives, now people from all regions can know lot of knowledges. and btw, humans need to control their population. now we need more than 1 earth to fulfil our 7billions and something population. almost 8 bils. the exact number is... we need around 1.7 earth. overshoot day is in July. several days ago.
