Watching this again some time later . Think Julia clearly experienced trauma at the hands of her sisters to be so effected when they talked about tomenting & bullying her when she was little. Some children don't recover from sibling abuse. Calling them evil was perhaps subconsciously her truth.

Agree. Julia has mentioned on a few occasions how Nadia used to do some nasty things to her when she was younger. Nadia has admitted several times that she hated it when Julia came along and she had to share her with her parents. It left her livid… I hope Julia heals and has a very happy and blessed life. Can’t be easy seeing Nadia parading her family on you tube each day.

Siblings can be very hard to deal with. I guess it’s all about acceptance and not wanting them who you want them to be. I think when families can accept this and not force their personalities on each other, things will probably change for the better. It’s just whether siblings can acknowledge this and begin to change things.

Julia and Nadia look so much alike, they almost look like twins, even though there is nearly four years between them! I used to be friends with a girl who had a non-identical twin sister who looked so different, she didn't even look like she was part of the same family, but they had an older sister who looked so much like my friend that you'd think they were twins. Anyway, Julia and Nadia could be each others stunt doubles or if one of them were to play a double role as a twin, the other could be a stand-in for some scenes.

I think that quarrel bewteen siblings are more often than not, based on love . It is very rare to be hated by a sibling . Especially if you were raised by loving parents . I know Julia quite well, and i know about the quarrel with her sister(s) , and trust me, it is a quarrel based on love . This is when your sister gets mad at you because she doesn't like the way you are hurting yourself and refuses to watch you sink, especially when you refuse their help . Anyway, family issues are complicated as much as they are private . Julia is a wonderful person and i am sure, so are Nadia and Dina.

This is such a sweet video to make for their sister. It makes me want to make or bake something with my sister and record it for memories' sake. I think it's such a great idea. Or to cook or do an activity together with my mum as she teaches me how to cook one of her recipes. I need to do that very soon because no one really knows how long any of us are going to be alive. Please, i encourage everyone to do likewise. Mum leads, directs and teaches the recipe and I will follow. It'll make me feel like a kid again but without the spanking and punishment. Hahaha. Jk.

I hate going in between siblings because this is nobody's business. But, because Julia is a friend, i have to say that Nadia is not a good sister and not a friend to Julia. Nadia was truly bad to Julia and really hurt her badly, and kept on hurting her as she grew up and then in their adult life, by always interfering with Julia's life. And sadly this is not just nadia, many people on the Sawalha side of the family have been toxic to Julia, Nadia and Dina. I don't know if the resentment is based on jealousy and envy or something even deeper and darker. But i am glad Julia distanced herself from toxic surroundings. Julia is truly am angel, she is kindness personified. We met over two decades ago when i started working with animals (as a vet and ethologist) and Julia came over once and adopted a dog from the shelter i used to work at a few times a week, and her love and respect for animals is what made me like her so much. You can tell a lot about a person in the way they relate to animals and they always show their true selves in that moment, and Julia's true self is a masterpiece. We used to hang out a lot, i dragged her to some gay clubs and bars (i am gay) or we would just go for drinks and dinner here and there. It was a true friendship nothing weird or artificial. I have never been star struck by Julia because i must admit i didn't really watch ab fab as a teen or pride and prejudice or the other shows she starred in, and didn't really know Julia. And i am not from the UK so this was another culture to me (i'm icelandic, i just studied and worked in the UK for a while). But although Julia never really explained what was going on between her and her sisters, it was clear that Nadia didn't have a good effect on Julia and it got worse as they grew. It is such a pity, because my brother and I were the best of friends until he passed when i was a teen, and i would give anything to have him back, so to see siblings wasting that link is heart breaking. But i think in some cases this is for the best because some siblings like Nadia are just toxic and do not wish to mend the past or evolve toward anything good.

As a friend it is my duty to make sure my friends are not hurt, by anyone, including their own family. Friendship is far stronger sometimes than bloodline and in the case of my friend Julia, i would not hesitate sticking my nose between Nadia and her in order to protect Julia. Now as a complete stranger to both Julia, Nadia and myself, what better advice to follow than your own.

Lara ,is notthe sister of Julia , Nadia and Dina , they just have the same family name . Nadim Sawalha only had three daughters and this is those three here . So if your school friend told you she was Julia's sister, then your friend was making it up. Lara Sawalha is the daughter of Nabil Sawalha , another actor , who happens to be the related to Nadim Sawalha (Julia's father. But Nabil sawalha is Jordan , and Lara was born in Jordan and i believe is still Jordan today, though she lives and works both in the UK and the Middle East . But Lara is no sister of Julia and Lara is also fully Middle Eastern , while Julia and her sisters are Half British half Jordanian but completely English born and raised . I am friend with Julia so i would appreciate if you didn't start stupid rumors about a fourth sister .
