Well truth is he was an opium addict,who enjoyed the most out of all mughal emperors because of his timing of ascension ,he came just after Akbar,who had brought peace n stability after much toil,all he did was enjoy life,and was also remarkably brutal n cruel in his ways of execution maybe because of mood swings brought ùpon by his addictions..we may try to look at his good side,but sadly there was nothing remarkable done by him as compared to other mughal emperors, by the way he was also the one who let in East India company into India...and subsequently the future everyone knows...

Mughal Empire was pretty much wiped out when british stepped in into Subcontinent, Mughal Empire was only restricticted to Dehli and Mughal emperor pay tribute to Marathas. Maratha Empire took all of north India from Mughals.

One critical point should not have been missed ie Jahagir's marriage with Meherunnisa also called Noor Jahan who was the wife of Sher Afghan the Governor of Burdwan. There was duel between Sher Afghan and Jahangir's half brother Qutubuddin . In the duel both were killed. Their tombs lay at Pir Bahram mosalem and associated graveyard in Burdwan in West Bengal. Marriage is an important part of history in the life of the Mughals and the credit goes to this multi talented lady who made great difference in the administration in their rule and presence, so Rehan Fazal sir please consider it next time.
