In 1995 I wished to become a commercial pilot and talked to an aviation academy in Hyderabad and the cost for the course was 22 lakhs and told me that if you for any reason cannot clean it on time then further 10 lakhs will be required. I realised that it will not be possible for a middle class family but I took the video cassette home. Later my sister became an air hostess in Air India Express in the year 2004. I have no grudge for it and I became a Station Master in Indian Railway.

Starting salary of IT engineer from average college is around 4 lpa (30k per month) After 2 years of experience, you can change company and will get around 6 lpa (45k per month) because you have experience. After around 10 years, you can get around 1 lac per month. And until retirement period, you will be earning around 3 -4 lac per month 😁

Best way is go through IRGUA. It is best , Government owned and pocket friendly . Instructors are ex-Air Force . Air India used to recruit 50% of their pilots from here. If u do pilot training from abroad it is very difficult to clear DGCA conversion papers. Lot of training schools have come up here and there which do not have proper infrastructure. So my recommendation to future pilots is go for the best I.e IGRUA

Expectations should be realistic... If one is so serious about getting trained funded by gov then he or she should join air force or navy as pilot. But it's way more difficult than privately funded training.

Indian Airforce is superior to commercial airlines. They give you much better training in almost 10 times less cost😃

If you already cleared CPSS than u will get free cost training from IAF for flying, later on after retirement u apply for airline, thus u will save crore of rupees and can join airline as most of IAF officer do. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Minimum eligibility criteria is irrelevant wrt to expectations... These specialised courses like aviation and shipping takes lot of studies, repeated and tough examinations, certifications. It's not easy as it's made it out to be. And job opportunities are not as high as one would think and expect even after spending millions. So don't fall into trap of huge debt which many unaware people do. It can literally bring one onto streets. THESE PROFESSIONS ARE NOT WALK IN THE PARK...

She hasn't mentioned that thing...but I have seen a lot of videos of a pilot they say, the procedure of non-science students is that they need to do physics and maths from an open board NIOS and then you can apply for exams...even I'm also a commerce student and becoming a pilot was my dream since when I was 13 years old... and still I want to do this ..
