RE: "Next Activity" button is disappeared😢 Hiya Team, I am learning English with the BBC Learning English website. The "Next Activity" button at the bottom of every session has disappeared since last Thursday, the 11th. I used to click this button to move through activities one by one in every session. But now, there is only one activity in each session. Could you please fix it as soon as possible? Materials such as transcripts and quizzes in every activity are absolutely useful and crucial to me. I would feel disappointed if it doesn't change back to normal. Due to my unsuccessful enrollment in all ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses in Birmingham, I have to study English by myself with the BBC Learning English website.

I didn`t understand why she said: Have you worked here long, why didn`t - Have you been working here long? I think it is more get here,because he is continue working and not fired :D
@wsikora317 жыл бұрын
ilya0885 Well in fact, in some cases the present perfect can be used interchangably with the present perfect continous. In this case the present perfect is even a bit more suitable because the action has been in progress for a really long time. And when talking about long-standing actions which last months or especially years it is better not to use continous tenses. Though You are right to think that the present perfect continous tense can also be used here. Kind regards
