@BBC Learning English, First of all thank you very much for all of your English Learning videos. It's really improved my English, specially on my writing and vocabulary. I was just wondering if you had a videos that could help me and other followers to improve our spoken English. Most of us, not native speakers, have a difficulty on developing this particular area because we do not normally use this on our daily conversation and communication.

In my cultural, there is a common question to ask the old single man " are u going to get marriaged". they get the questions all the time. from my perspective, it seems malicious intent but societal norm. What do u think,guys ?

Why does the same clip appear twice?
@bbclearningenglish
@bbclearningenglish 6 жыл бұрын
Hi! The reason why we sometimes repeat the clip is to allow the listener a better opportunity to hear the language again. The clips in this programme were very dense with target language, so we felt it was a lot to take in for just one listening. We hope this answers your question

Yes, white lie isn't a bad thing. It is used to protect somebody from anger and depressed emotions. When i was a kid my mom always said me to go home early. She explained that there were many monsters that can eat me. Haha. I think it is a white lie, isn't it?😃 Thanks BBC
