There are some facts about this. Atlantic records (remember them?) handled their presence in America, promptly lost any interest in Supergrass, and allowed the band to utterly disappear stateside.

@@RamblesBrambles That's wrong. This song didn't get to number 1 in any country. it only got to number 9 in the UK. The album went platinum in the UK but it didn't get to number 1. Their only record to get to number 1 was their first album, I Should Coco.

​@jonatherton he has a piezo pickup fitted to the guitar which simulates an acoustic sound that you can turn on and off with a switch on the guitar. The studio version is a real acoustic though. You can see him switch it off on the guitar right before the first chorus.
