Ummm... Of course she's belting it for her age, but she is absolutely not still as good as when she was young. Her voice is wobbling flat and sharp, struggling to hold notes and sounds thinner with less power and control. She is even ducking out of some notes. I also don't like the shoddy arrangement from the band here, it sounds weak when it should sound massive and epic like it did in the movie.

At the time, Timothy Dalton's Bond wasn't received very well but in hindsight, he was a superb Bond, in a pair of very watchable films. This theme is absolutely up there with the best of them, and Gladys Knight has still got it.

Timothy Dalton by far the best actor to play James Bond because he played what Fleming wrote dark brooding not looking like he really loved his job played the cruel part really well and looking at him you could believe he could brutally kill someone, his films are not given the credit they deserve and him as the most credible Bond.

As a start, and these are not everyone's favorites but they are entertaining, for an older one I'd recommend "The Living Daylights", the film just before "License to Kill", with Timothy Dalton as Bond. Also, watch "Casino Royale", which a lot of die-hard fans rank near the top (Daniels Craig's first). That's barely scratching the surface, let us know what you think.
