I have a tattoo on my inner arm with the lyrics “I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up to more than I can be” in my mother’s handwriting. I got it done the day I turned 18. this was and always will be my mother’s favorite song. she passed away from pancreatic cancer 10 months ago, on Dec 31st. I listen to this song, and I can feel my mom around me. I miss her everyday.

Oh...this is me and my mom's song. When Josh was first starting out in his career, he came to Tucson and gave a Mother's Day concert. I took my mom as her Mother's Day gift, from me. He dedicated this song to his mom and to all mother's in the audience. My mom took my hand, squeezed it and wished me a happy mother's day which meant the world to me. I was a new mom and was so focused on my mom, didn't think about me. Years later, when my mom was brain dead, I played 'You Raise Me Up (our song) for her on my laptop the day before we took her off of life support. I swear on my son's life, she opened her eyes. One eye was rolled up in her head but one eye looked directly at me with so much love and peace it was like getting a glimpse into an entire universe. I don't know if she heard my words but I told her "I love you" a few times but went quiet so she could enjoy 'our song'. She did but not for long then closed her eyes. She never opened them again. She was taken off life support the next day. Thank you Josh for being a part of making this memory for me and my mom. You are very loved.

Kidney damage luckely now stable. Chronic pain which is the worst becauce every minor surgery gives me immens pain. I use high doses of morfine. I use cbd oil. I have benign braintumor. Pressing against hypofyse who makes hormones. And undiagnosed sleeping disorder. Use many meds to sleep. I sleep mostly between 6 am and 6 pm. Not much support from my iwn fam. Or any people who i thought were friends I only wanted to have my university degree (had to stop to ill.) I wanted to become trauma doctor. Now i have met many doctors. Most are not nice people. I wanted a fam. A wedding with great dress (yes my dream since 4 yrs old) my love of my life and kids. And social network of friends. I have none of them. I dont know who ever wants to date me.. and few who are so not my type they only go towards a good pic from 2.5 yrs ago. All bad men srry to say. If anybody reads this and wants to help me? Please ask your god for help for me. Pray. If more will do that then maybe the collective will help. Thank you. 🙏⚘🕯🙏

This song stops me in my tracks when it comes on, no matter where it may be. This song is such a powerful interpretation of how impactful someone can be in your life! I relate it directly to how good God is to each and everyone of us and how important it is to have faith. Thank you for so many heart felt songs! Absolutely amazing vocalist!

This is a voice just waiting to be discovered! God's miracle was that he was in the audience when Celine needed him. He volunteered to come on stage and was discovered by everyone! Use that glorious voice to help others. I dedicate this song to my parents who were the best support system anyone could ever have. Every day I see their influence in my life. I am an only child and lost them both by the time I was 28. With all my heart, I thank you!
