If Franz Ferdinand for example sung a song like this in 2004 the crowd would jump up and down like it's last day of their lives. Johnny doesn't do anything less good here it's just thst great tunes don't get popular for some fuckin reason today. Or are too ashamed to party to a song that's not popular enough or whatever.

It is frustrating but that's the mentality of an average music consumer nowadays. You are right, this song does sound like FF and it rocks.

@@69monstermunch last time I went to Glastonbury was 2002 and people were wearing X-Factor T-shirts with angel wings and Gucci hand bags, I didn't go in to the festival (no ticket but did not try to get in) found a free music festival with about 3000 people near Frome, much better, shame as the first few times I went it was the best place on earth that weekend back in early 80s, its now just a corporate event for TV and self promotion of the attendees , a debutantes ball for the end of school/university, its morphed into what it opposed in its concept, IMO

Why is the crowd frustrating? Who cares? Honestly, most people have never heard of Johnny Marr. He's a good guitarist, and has become a decent singer, but seeing a 60 year old dye job most of them have never heard of play songs they've never heard isn't going to crank everyone's wheel.
