This song by The Pretenders, "Don't Get Me Wrong", is a true gem from that golden age of music. The melody is incredibly catchy and Chrissie Hynde's voice is simply stunning. This song takes me back to a time when music was authentic and had true meaning. I love how the band mixes the elements of pop and rock to create a song that is perfect for singing and dancing.

@@malcolm2637 I saw them last night....still amazing, and her voice is still totally on point. Bonus, they played this tune, which I didn't expect at that point, second to last tune of the second encore. This has always been simply a perfect pop song.

I saw Lou Reed with some pals at the Roxy. I was sitting in the very front wearing my Loy Reed Jersey. It was a strange night. He spat on my shirt and stormed off the stage. I still have the unwashed shirt. His DNA is still on my shirt. 😂

It's not often I've ever said this but there's too much guitar on this. Get off the stage Auerbach! Play for the song, drop one of the slide players (Dan!) and tone down the overdrive on the pedal steel
@average_joe45588 жыл бұрын
Pete Clarke A lot of songs do not translate well from the precision of the studio into a live setting much less television studios. Even what we hear here sounds different from what this television audience hears live. What we hear was through a soundboard. Personally I think they sounded stellar

@Pete Clarke There´s ZERO overdrive in this... What are you even talking about?? You wrote this comment 3 years ago, maybe even before you knew what an overdrive really is.. I bet you´re embarassed now. "Tone down th e overdrive on the pedal". What an idiot xDxD

Great except from the guy on the red Gibson, who is totally outside of the mood of the song with his slide performance, should be playing with the Grateful Deads. Miss Robbie McIntosh nuances. But she is in top form and the bassist is good. I´ve seen them in Buenos Aires last month and they sounded really good.

Did anyone else notice she started to sing acting so distracted for the first verse and quickly changed it to kinda dazzled. Even the greats have their off days. And wtf with all the guitars. Not needed. Love Chrissy though and this will always be one of my top ten songs of all time 😘
