Favorite of mine too and apparently Bowie too according to an interview I saw. When I heard him say so I felt somehow more connected.

Me & my buddies were mostly into Southern Rock in the late 70's & early 80's. My roommate found a box of wet albums at work one day. We were able to get the Bowie album cleaned up, and we discovered "Ashes to Ashes". In the next couple of years, there wasn't a single party, where it wasn't in there with the Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet & A.B.B..

Bowie was the reason I got into vinyl and became a life long fan. That was 55 years ago and fuck me I miss him so much. It broke my heart when he left us and I play a Bowie song every day. First saw Ziggy in late 71 and he changed my life.

No one will ever come close to David Bowie. One of the only people, that I never met personally, where I cried when I found out he had left this Earth. I am sure he is happy back on his home planet. ❤

Love❤❤❤

What an incredibly vibrant version of this tune! He always attacked his own songs like they were not so sacred that they couldn't be reworked, and often to their betterment.

I've loved David Bowie all of my life. I'm a very proud fan of Bowie and have been for 56 years. I miss David, we lost him far too soon. Long Live David Bowie's legend, long live his incredible body of work, & long live David Bowie's memory. David Bowie Forever.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Even now, tears well listening to this and thinking on how much I miss him. There is no other like him, and never will be. A true legend. He was always my number 1 - I will always love Bowie ♥

I love and totally understand how you feel about David Bowie. I had the great honor of meeting David Bowie twice. I saw him live three times. Once in 1987, again in 1990, and the last time in 2004. They're great memories, and I also find tears welling up in my eyes at times when I listen to his music or even just thinking about my memories of him.David Bowie is a truly rare treasure. A man who's legend is so great that his legend has a legend. Long Live David Bowie's body of work and his truest hard core life long fans. It does the heart & soul good to know that David Bowie lives on in his work and in the hearts, souls, & memories of his many fans. Gotta Love David Bowie & of course we fans do love him.

80s Bowie = my fav era of his music. Also love how he brought back some of the 80s style in his final 2 albums decades later. So many great 80s & early 90s acts were great because they were inspired by Bowie....we still need his uniqueness when it comes to music! Dare to be tastefully unique & ground breaking....Lady Gaga wearing a meat suit to the awards show to be "different" is the pitiful state of modern attempts. Ughh.

Bowie's albums from The Man Who Sold The World right through until Scary Monsters are both frighteningly brilliant and incredibly diverse. He barely stood still between records and created music that inspired countless generations of artists. His '80's output was something of a creative down turn although a commercial success. His return to grace left us with another run of albums that few can really touch. His loss was a terrible blow to millions of fans and still leaves a gaping hole in the music world. I am so glad I saw him in 1978, and regret all the times I did not see him.
