World Athletics bans transgender women athletes from female events - BBC News

World Athletics has banned transgender female athletes from competing in the female category at international events.
The governing body's president, Lord Coe, said no female transgender athlete who had gone through male puberty would be permitted to compete in female world ranking competitions from 31 March.
A working group will be set up to conduct further research into the transgender eligibility guidelines.
"We're not saying no forever," he said.

So sure let’s screw over all transgender athletes because of cry baby bigots but it has now affected biological women. Those from states and countries that allow puberty blockers, their daughters will be allowed to compete at the intersection level. Most Male-bodied people cannot get t-levels below 5nmol/L. They can't get to the 2.5 level, even with t-blockers. The t-levels are set for intersex women. They can get to normal Female levels on t-blockers.

Yes, science has to be understood before allowing transitioned athletes compete in categories that they transitioned to. People shouldn't be just allowed in any category they wish by default and then let whatever happen before science validates or invalidates it.

For those who still don't get it, just imagine if Usain Bolt, Messi, Ronaldo, Mayweather & LeBron all of them decided to be a transgender-woman and they wanted to compete on their individual sport but they are competing against women. Isn't it unfair for those real woman, right? Permanent ban is a must!

Hmmm..... so all of them on HRT or not on HRT? Have you actually spoken to anyone who is Transgender and on HRT? I think this is why they did not outright ban Transgender athletes, because medically, all of those guess....with the right dosage, would drop so fast. Ever wonder why there have been transgender females competing since before the 1970s ... and they have never done all to well. Let us also be serious, if prior to HRT you put me on the court with James.....I would get killed. If you put me up against an WNBA players...the slaughter would be the same.

@@pandapower5902 First, if you are referencing the Braizl study, that is questionable due to the sample of Transgender folks they used. There are studies that declare that managed that they drop the advanges to possibly below female levels. That is why after decades of Trans Women in sports, you have never seen one totally dominate. Even in Nationals... Lia won one race race by a second, then came in 5 in another and finished dead last. And in her lone win she was 8 seconds off the pace of the cis record holder. So, I am doubting your claim of advantages ... when the actual sports record books, do not show any advantage. That is why the record books might be the thorn in the myth. The record books... have no opinion...just who won and who lost.

@@karenmarieh.j.3842 there are other studies, i didnt even know of that one. They never lose the cardio or lung advantages or th bone structure advantages. Of course they are weaker than cis men but thats all. There are lots of other examples of trans women winning in sports, its not just Lia.

Besides, he was too busy slinging his dong out in the shower room and gleeful when bio women who complained where told to deal with it. Found the "Karen" of the rainbow group...........

As a Man I have to say it’s amazing that it took years for these people to realize Biological men should not be allowed to compete with women in sports. What women do in sports is amazing and they work so hard for it but suddenly a Guy decides to become a woman and than destroy women’s sport like Lia Thomas. Protect Women’s sports. It is beyond unfair if we allow Biological men to enter women’s sports.
