"Middle East on brink of catastrophe” says UN with fears of all-out war | BBC News

The United Nations is warning that the Middle East is on the brink of imminent catastrophe, with fears of escalation into an all-out war.
Israel and the Hezbollah militia-group in Lebanon have continued to exchange fire across the border. Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran, launched more than 100 rockets into Israel in retaliation for the attacks in Lebanon using exploding pagers and radio handsets, which killed dozens and injured hundreds more. Israel struck targets in northern Lebanon, saying it had destroyed thousands of rocket launch sites.

Why not report on allegations some from Arab League nation collected $7 million bounty and provided IDF location of one of the Hezbollah terrorist leaders? Hezbollah is designated by Arab League as terrorist organization since 2016. EU, US and most nations also consider Hezbollah terrorist organization. Only earlier in the year some Arab League members pressured to remove Hezbollah as terrorist group but some Arab League members consider terror group a threat for lasting peace in the region.
