The fact that Hezbollah began firing rockets from Lebanon seems to be totally missed by the BBC. Israel didn't start a front on its Northern border, Hezbollah did on 8th Oct. The UK and the EU designate Hezbollah as a terror organization. So does the US and Japan. This choice of terminology "some western governments" is a stark reminder of the BBC's bias. They could have been explicit and named countries, but chose not to, presumably to obfuscate the fact that most Western governments consider Hezbollah a terror group. The BBC is trying to portray this as a contested issue, when it clearly is not.

I've been watching all these podcasts over the past few days from the Guardian, Times Radio, the BBC, Channel 4, Sky News, and many, many others and what I find immediately striking, even from the more right leaning channels, is how none of their journalists, informed correspondents, experts, commentators, etc actually get it. I thought that it was obvious to everyone that Oct 7 had woken a giant and filled it with terrible resolve and all the usual fun and games ended a year ago. I don't think that Israel has even begun to get warmed up yet and all this is a mere peak of the trailer for movie franchise to come
