People also don't realise that this guy won the Candidates, ahead of the likes of Caruana, Hikaru, and so on. He reached the top *after* ousting all of them! It doesn't really matter that the games were of "low quality," people should really look at all of his games to make such a judgement. His wins against Caruana and Wei Yi in the Olympiad are remarkable.

What kind of disgraceful ending was that? Is this how you treat a world champion during an interview? The BBC has shown a pathetic and arrogant mindset. A player of his caliber, who has achieved what no one else has at just 18 years old, deserves respect, not this disrespectful treatment. This video is a clear display of the arrogance and jealousy of Western media. Cry all you want your youth isn’t capable of achieving such greatness, as they are too consumed by addictions and distractions. I call on my fellow Indians to unsubscribe from this channel that clearly has no interest in acknowledging or celebrating India’s success on the global stage.

The whole interview was arranged to make a dent on Indian celebrations. The magnus question was in line with the policy of british government to belittle indians and our achievements. But the way gukesh highlighted the entire gamut of things that go into the making of a champion these days, the tax evading channel (bbc) miserably failed in its efforts.

Two ancient passions of India are chess and wrestling. The latter now requires better coaches and organization to be among the best in the world. Also the coach of Gukesh is none other than a Viswanathan Anand an Aryan Brahman. We need wrestling coaches of the same caliber as of now.
