Jessie J is so underrated. One of the best singers yet somehow she hasn't broken through in the US yet. She should be a huge success... she has so much talent and she's such a great person. Maybe that is the reason. She's just too great of a person with a high standard of morals, for the business that is so much about faking and not being real...
@aleramirez70514 жыл бұрын
You and others say that because she does not have a huge popularity, although she was talented and very famous, they would say that she is overrated and that there are other small artists with more talent who deserve it. There comes a point that they get tired of seeing celebrities every day. People are never happy with anything. Hypocritical society.
@soundslike1life4 жыл бұрын
@@aleramirez7051 You don't need to tell that to an independent musician with 30 unnoticed albums under his belt, but thanks for sticking up for independent artists like me. I still think Jessie deserves more attention than some stars in the business, and so do all the talent that goes unnoticed because of what music industry is. And so do older artist that are not getting plays or promotion after they reach a certain age. It's a very hypocritical effed up business.

This version is soo sad. You wouldn't see Taylor's version as sad. This proves It's not the lyrics that add emotion, but the voice that adds emotion to the lyrics. I like both versions , but I see Taylor's as a cool pop song and Jessie's as a sad breakup song
@sofiamoukhalid63310 жыл бұрын
But the song is not supposed to be sad. You've got the first verse that you can consider sad, and the rest is angry. At least that's how the writer of the song performs it, aka taylor. And when I say angry I mean she's angry that she went for the guy anyway, angry with herself not the guy.

I think Taylor and Jessie are two different styles. Taylor's version is more like a rokin' rage kinda thing. It's wild and furious. But when Jessie's singing, I can hear the sound the heart is shattered in to pieces. Especially when there are repetition of lyrics, her vibrato is so full of sentiment and delicate, just can't get enough. I think when u r trying to find connection in this song, if u r furious with some fool, listen to Taylor; but if u r just broken hearted, listen to Jessie.

@3:05- The point she massively improves this song! If you thought maybe not at the beginning - skip to here and be amazed for the rest of the song!

I keep replaying this video so many times! Her singing puts me in a blissful world. I’m not a Swift fan at all, but I seriously love this song because of Jessie J. Huge fan. Forever love her. Thank you for this cover ❤️😌❤️😌❤️

No one can ever say she doesn't put everything into what she sings. I liked it!

She's famous as hell and still farrrr too underrated. Who the hell created this creature, fuck she's amazing. Everything that comes out of her mouth gives me chills.

You know you're insanely talented when an entire room full of musically skilled and gifted people look on with smiles and awe at how exceptional you are at your craft. The song is a work of art from a songwriting perspective and I think Taylor would agree Jessie J made it sound holy.

The most UNDERRATED female singer in the 21st Century. Hands down. HANDS. DOWN. I'm proud of her rising so big, but it's all so recent. She should've been famous A VERY LONG time ago. Her and Sam Smith are the top singers right now. 💖

How do you feel about your statement 8 years later? Sam has changed a lot, and Jessie is STILL not getting the attention she deserves.

She makes any song better because that's what an artist is meant to do. SHE SINGS. She puts passion in what she does, and she's got the VOICE.

Come on now. The comparison to Taylor is inevitable. Jessie's version was just so so so so soooo much better than the original song. And once again; Jessie has every damn right to show off her voice as it is one of the most powerful and beautiful voices that the music industry has ever experienced. Not many singers can compare to Jessie. Just sayin'.
@huraxdax_246710 жыл бұрын
oh trust me SO MANY singers have a better voice than jessi. She's good, but she's not even close to best look at tina turner, whitney huston, amy winehouse, ADELE, and so many others. She just is not as good as these women.

Jonas Heigenhauser This is your own opinion and I fully respect it but in my opinion Jessie can actually be compared to all these remarkable female singers that you mentioned in your comment and I do think that her vocal abilities can turn out to be equally good or even better than theirs. This is just my personal opinion though.
@huraxdax_246710 жыл бұрын
Heartbeat_E. I respect that opinion, but i want to point out that my mentiones are based on facts. Mariah Carey has a Vocal range of 5 octaves, that is almost impossible to beat

Jonas Heigenhauser I don't know about octaves and stuff. All I know is that Jessie's voice is one of the most powerful and genuine voices I have ever heard. And I'm definitely not the only one who says that. Singers like Tom Jones or Justin Timberlake have talked about Jessie's remarkable talent. I have listened to Mariah and then to Jessie..I think Jessie beats her but then again that's my own opinion. You don't have to agree, haha.

This is so soulfully insane. WOW! I've never imagined I would cry for a Taylor song! If Taylor can write thousands of songs, Jessie can sing thousands of songs in a totally different level.
