Mike Borden is simply an amazing human being. I was working in the VIP lounge for a hotel in Little Rock, AR in 1999. Korn had a show in town, were staying at the hotel and took over the lounge for a few hours. Although I was and am a huge Korn fan, I didn't really interact with any of the band unless they engaged me first out of professionalism. I ended up striking up a 30 minute conversation with a short skinny guy with dreads that I didn't really recognize, but got along with really well. When I went to bill the tab to his room, the top of the check said M. Borden. About 15 seconds after I handed him his check, the light came on and I said 'Holy shit, you're Mike Borden! Why are you here with Korn!?' I went into fan mode a little and we just talked about the state of FNM for another 20 minutes. He was genuinely one of the nicest people I've met famous or otherwise. For me Angel Dust was their crowning achievement. They have so many great songs and albums, but that album is pretty close to perfect start to finish.

subjective. im from the 90's , but im 100% against older generations like my own Gen Xers - pissing about how much better their shit was than the new shit. Musical tastes change. They evolve and mutate and add upon, and sometimes its for the better, and in some instances its for the worse. But proclaiming that an older generation's musical group is better than anything else putmout these days is entirely a matter of opinion, NOT A FACT, and like i said SUBJECTIVE. You come off like a "high-horse sitting" ... holier than thou garbage person, when you start running your mouth about how much better your generation's shit was than the new generation's shit. Figure it out. It aint hard. We need to encourage our youth, prop em up, and not lambast them for having different tastes than ours. 95% of the music thats on the charts these days, is directly related to, and inspired by our fucking music, so now whats that all about? cmon man, be better. be best.

It doesn't get the credit it deserves. It stands up today and is just as important as Nevermind, 10, Badmotorfinger, Siamese Dream, etc. It is my favorite FNM album too. So powerful, so creative!

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaak me they are so fn good live. The skill level in this band is insane. I've always been a fan of FNM along with dozens of other rock bands. But after seeing this I think I've realised for the first time that they are the most talented band I love. To think that people don't know who Mike Patton is. If aliens came down to Earth and heard this shit they would kidnap Patton, take him back to their planet and make him the ruler of the universe.

I've always loved that a "metal" (for lack of a better word) band like Faith No More clearly have a love and passion for the classics like Bacharach, they have a depth of knowledge of music that has served them well.

God it seems like yesterday when i first saw this lot in the late 80s, all young and hyper, now look, grey, bunch of middle aged men, wheres the years gone? life goes too quick, enjoy it kids, you won't believe how quick it creeps up on you.

Craziest part is how you could play this to anyone familiar with Angel Dust blindfolded and tell them these tracks were recently released bonus tracks from that album and they’d believe you. Their sound has not deteriorated at all!

Totally agree. Youth is taken for granted. When you are young you never appreciate youth. By the time you realize it, a couple of decades have passed and you start reminiscing when you were young. Time do flies.

MIke Patton has one of the most unique and powerful voices out there. They dared to mix up so many different genre's of music with their style and they kicked some serious ass while doing it! I'm happy to see they playing again.

AK FOX agreed all the way. He could sing anything I think and crush. I’d like to hear him sing the lead in Phantom. Seriously. That third song sold it. Haha
