so good. this group of musicians is underrated i feel.
@guzman1018 жыл бұрын
+Jacob Moon He is by no means underrated, if anything, I see nothing but the utmost in praises towards his musical abilities. It is his popularity that is unfortunate. Not enough people recognize his talents around the world. And no, if he was more popular it wouldn't be a bad thing it would signify that people, in general, are better and more aware and appreciative of real skill and talent. But I don't what I am talking about.
@moonaj898 жыл бұрын
Jiz Anthapus that is definitely a more accurate articulation of the point I wanted to make. Ty
@guzman1018 жыл бұрын
+Jacob Moon No need to thank me, you bring up a good point. You mentioned the "group" and I totally failed to recognize their abilities as well! Damn... Anyways, I have always maintained, since discovering Ben, that if anyone would be able to play along with him they themselves must be great musicians as well. And they are! I've seen them twice in America and they ALL performed so well. Both shows were very different but amazing shows, nonetheless! Either way, I get where you're coming from and "I feel ya."

Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all You and I, bloodlines We come together every time Two wrongs, no rights We lose ourselves at night And from the outside, from the outside Everyone must be wondering why we try Why do we try? Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Maybe in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all Oo-ooh. Oo-ooh Rain on, a thunder sky Wherever there's smoke, there'll soon be fire What could bring bad luck, I've been looking at you too much And from the outside, from the outside Everyone must be wondering why we try Why do we try? Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Maybe in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Maybe in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all In the middle of it We walk, we walk the line Looking back I miss it Our wildest moments Are you thinking what if What if we ruined it all? My wrecking ball And from the outside, from the outside Everyone must be wondering why we try Why do we try? Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Maybe in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all Baby, in our wildest moments We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Maybe in our wildest moments We could be the worst of all

To anybody who's talking bad about the original, I think you're just not a fan of that genre of music because the lyrics are pretty awesome regardless. The songs lyrics remind me of almost every relationship I can think of at some point in time. Whether talking about my own or other's. The guitar play in this cover is not particularly difficult, I like the song but not particularly amazed. To say he took a bad song and made it great, I disagree. He took a good song and completely revamped it. I agree on that. Got to always respect an original in my opinion.
@ThePlugga446 жыл бұрын
I'm don't always have to respect an original, admittedly lyrically it's a good song but the rest just isn't my thing but as a ben Howard fan, I love to spin he puts on his covers and if it's a song I already like, I like it more, If it's something I would never listen to, he chops and changes it into something palatable for my tastes
@s.o.37533 жыл бұрын
There are people talking trash about the original? Please! Jessie Ware’s Devotion was one of the best albums released that year, all the critics loved it. I agree with you, probably just not their cup of tea for those saying it’s a bad song. Besides, Ben obviously likes it, is that not endorsement enough?

Baby in our wildest moments Bébé dans nos moments les plus fous We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest Nous pourrions être les plus grands, nous pourrions être les plus grands. Maybe in our wildest moments Peut-être que dans nos moments les plus fous We could be the worst of all Nous pourrions être le pire de tout. (x2) Wait on thunder sky Attends un ciel d'orage Wherever there’s smoke, there'll soon be fire Partout où il y a de la fumée, il y aura bientôt un incendie That could bring bad luck Qui pourrait apporter la malchance I’ve been looking at you too much Je t'ai trop regardé From the outside, from the outside De l'extérieur, de l'extérieur Everyone must be wondering why we try Chacun doit se demander pourquoi nous essayons Why do we try Pourquoi essayons-nous In the middle of it Au milieu de cela We walk, we walk the line Nous traversons, traversons la ligne Looking back I can see En regardant derrière je peux voir Our wildest moments Nos moments les plus fous Are you thinking what if As-tu envisagé quoi faire si What if we ruined it all? Quoi faire si nous ruinons tout cela? My wrecking ball. Mon boulet de démolition. From the outside, from the outside De l'extérieur, de l'extérieur Everyone must be wondering why we try Chacun doit se demander pourquoi nous essayons Why do we try Pourquoi essayons-nous

are you saying the original is terrible? Jessie Ware is one of the most underrated artists in Britain. I think this cover is awful, but at least he totally changed the song, and didn't just copy it.

Not terrible but nowhere near as good as this in my opinion, I think the reason he covers songs so well is that he changes them as effectively as he does

This happens when an original song is taken and completely reworked. I had to go and look up the original after hearing this as I wanted to know how different it sounded. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and tastes, however, denying the musicality of this performance because it doesn't fit your taste makes you look ignorant
