It's been about 5 years now since I last saw the girl I've thought would be my soulmate for life. I can relate to this song on a full scale because yes, we were in fact only 15. I can recall every single memory vividly, and hearing this song reminds me of the story we've made. Being so young and innocent, and not knowing what it meant to love- when I met her, it's like my life just flipped completely. I remember the time she called me her "wildcard" and we'd spend most of our time making an adventure we promised we'd always remember. In spite of the fact of being so young- we were naive and neglected the fact we both knew we were in love. I never got the chance to tell her I loved her truly, and I knew she did too. In the end- the connection we shared just broke because I never took my "chance". It's been a long time, and we're both 20 now. She's somewhere out there in the world and I hope she knows I haven't forgotten about her.
