wholetime they are definitely tired of playing this song. especially the guitarist (dave, not the touring). he's pretty much checked out of their sets these days. doesn't seem to be having very much fun anymore. i guess that's why he stopped touring with the band
@rockzs74r7 жыл бұрын
They maybe tired and bored with this song already. But, this song always attract crowd to go wild and crazy. Everyone will sing along to this song, and this song is full of energy. So, as a musician there is no better compliment than an Enthusiastic crowd. So that's why they never get tired of this

Ronnie's playing is so on point, it's ridiculous. After all the years of playing this song, it's still got such fierce energy. Beastly drummer!
@willm30277 жыл бұрын
He's a beast! one of my favorite drummers
@countingcrows1237 жыл бұрын
He's SUCH a good drummer but is basically at the point of *painfully* overplaying in this video. Part of being a good drummer is playing for the song... and IMO this is way over the top. Drums actually became distracting.. which is the opposite of their job. Seems like he's probably sick of playing the song so he just doesn't give a shit anymore lol
@davidkayanan89767 жыл бұрын
Definitely overplayed it
@willm30277 жыл бұрын
No way.. why would you play exactly from their album version.. wheres your creativity? thats the point of a live version.. have you ever played live before???? little things like that i appreciate it! hate it when people complain!
@countingcrows1237 жыл бұрын
dude.. my favorite band is counting crows. they literally change EVERYTHING live. including the vocal melodies completely. i respect things done differently live.. but there's a difference between something that sounds like fucking around/showing off and actually giving a solid performance. you must not play in a band very well. just like how not every guitar solo needs to be a shredfest.. not every fill needs to be fucking out of this world. absolutely overplayed. great drummer but overplayed

Could you explain me why? I m italian and i see a lot of people seem to agree about this but I really can t understand why hahaha thanks
@nataliejaggi3875 жыл бұрын
@@giannabertoldi4098 I think this song holds a lot of meaning/memories for people, this came out when I was around middle school age, so for me this was a song I listened to on the hard days and it makes a difference. That's just ny experience with it, and that's the cool thing about music, is that everyone loves a song for a different reason. It also helps that the verses are the same lyrics so anyone can sing it, haha.

This is the song I’ll play in 10 or 15 years, a few mates will be over for drinks. Our kids will be playing or watching a movie. We’ll have had a few beers and this banger will strike out of nowhere. We will all look at each other. The kids will be confused as the shear screaming and joy that will pour from our voices will be nothing they have seen before. And that will start a three hour long lesson on music. We all had to endure when our parents got drunk. And now I fully understand it
