What a legend Sigourney is. I first saw her in Alien, and I love that franchise, but I cried at the end of Gorillas in the Mist. This was such a moving role

Couple of befriended silverbacks would really come in handy for her in Alien.

I'm always amazed how people see humans as seperate from animals. The more ANY animal is studied, the more similarities we see. We use to think they were all dumb, no emotion, didn't love, didn't think, didn't do anything but instinct, we have come a long way in our understanding of these amazing, complex animals, all of them.

That's not entirely accurate. Animals is a broad term and some are as you say dumb, don't love etc. While many other animals are beautiful and more intelligent human beings are still a cut above the rest for better and for worse.

Sigourney Weaver is revisiting the gorilla group where, some twenty years before, she shot "Gorillas in the Mist" with.

Getting her to do a show with David Attenborough would be well worth watching.

If you believe that all natural ecological interaction between humans and animals is wrong, then you are entitled to your belief. I am part Native American, and for thousands of years we lived in harmony with nature, taking only what we need and not wasting anything. I do not believe we were meant set ourselves apart from wildlife, but instead to live in harmony with it. I see where you are coming from, and your concerns are valid. Maybe your opinion on some of us will change. =)

Importspeed, I loved the video. I love animals. I love Gorillas (especially) I love hunters and fisherman. (the good type) It is easy to group all types of people into one group. However, many of us are conservationists and help animals by assisting and even starting pro-animal conservation efforts. Saying you hate all hunters/fisherpeople is like racism, because you generalize the beliefs/actions of everyone in a large group. I hope you will objectively consider my comment.
