Frankly a LOT of the problems on board the Red Dwarf could be a LOT easier to solve if the main characters were actually a lot MORE sensitive!

It was part of the episode. Apparently, the ship wires were rearranged and they accidently activated the ship self-destruct when they were trying to get food from a vending machine.

Set your phasers to shun. Hint glue and H to your forehead ( you have to use super glue or it doesn't work) everyone will think you are a hologram. Hint 2 if you are still having trouble try not sleeping for at least a week. Now walking through walls takes a bit of practice try it slowly at first lol. If you don't believe it works have you managed to leave your house either yes then you've managed to walk through a wall lol
