2024 Honda ADV160 - Still Leaking Coolant? Yup!

For me..if coolant levels don't rapidly drop, if the seepage isn't wiped off and the dried residue keeps more coolant from escaping, and you still don't have to add coolant more than once every 2000 to 3000 miles, for me its a non issue!! Have to say I loved the music in this video, definitely sounds like Steely Dan!!

Ironically, I saw a JB Weld ad on this video. But if Honda's coolant is like VW's pink G12 coolant, then anything that leaks out will dry to a hard crust which helps to seal off a minor leak. So try leaving the seepage alone rather than wiping it off.

No, you NEVER want to allow the weep hole to get plugged up. This hole is designed to be the first sign of failure when a pump seal begins to fail - allowing fluid to build up inside the housing can eventually force coolant into the crankcase

i went to a dealership Saturday to see what kind of tires i could get for my honda trail 125 and came home with a 2025 ADV 160. and i just hit 206 miles on it with the gas the dealer put in it. but starting today i plan on checking the proper mileage. i have been up and down with my speed during brake in. and one time hit 71 mph. sp far i have only found 2 things i dont like about it. one a full size helmet wont fit under the seat. but once my top box gets here that wont be a problem. but the main thing is that seat. it feels like you setting on a 2x4 sideways. so i will have to get a cushion or another seat pretty soon.

I drove my wife's adv160 didn't find it squirrelly at 60 to 70 mph seems find watch scooter cannonball they drive 3400 to 3800 miles across country the adv does very well.

Look at a Yamaha Xmax 300 Scooter, should be able to do it all on tarmac, city & hyw.
