It might be toxic but sometimes it can change from a lost to a tie or a tie to a win, I just use ithaqua to suck the surv out, Alva ability thingy or Robbie soul thingy👍

It feels just like they are taunting and it sucks. For me, I tend to stay at the exit gate till I get a good understanding of what is going on in the rest of the map, then decide what to do. If I'm not needed, I leave. If I have tide, detention is about to run out or am playing a survivor that can tank a detention hit, I might stay depending on where everyone is so I can either bodyblock, rescue if a chair is unguarded or wait out detention. Outside of that, I wait when trying to stall. Example, when another teammate is still trying to get an exit gate open and someone is chaired, I tend to wait so that the hunter is forced to chase me out first, wasting more of their time, as if they do not get me to leave I am left free to go rescue. Whatever happens I never emote at the gate when the hunter is walking towards it, as I find it unnecessary and it just doesn't make the hunter feel good. I only emote if I'm alone or peacefully waiting for the gate to open. So yea, that's my take on this.

as a hunter main i just refuse to go the gate if i know there is only one person remaining and theyre already at the gate. they get bored and leave usually, while they wait for me like a fool i watch my hunter's emotes or destroy some pallets for points

Im an embalmer main so I tend to have to wait because my coffin becomes useless if i leave. But if i need to leave immediately i will. And if im the only one left you bet im not gonna sit there and emote 😭😭 i dont do that for dungeon either! Its so toxic and it can make a win turn into a loss. One time i was sitting near the exit gate waiting for my friend to escape but the geisha we were against dashed into my gate and her crazy hit box launched me out of the gate despite my body literally about to leave 😂. We won anyway luckily cus her detention ran out and i was able to use coffin. Don’t unnecessarily gate wait! And definitely dont emote and taunt the hunter.

Same thing can be said about hunters: you just got down after a chase that lasted 2 ciphers, but hunter will spam you with his/her stickers like it was an easy kill. Another way could be your own mistake, getting terror shocked from a window and they will emote and flood you with stickers. The good use of emotes and stickers could be after making a very dumb mistake and look at each other with “that was stupid” thoughts
